CLARENCE E. BOUDREAUX, M.D.
Dr. Boudreaux founded Beaches Dermatology in 1990 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. As the practice grew, a new office was built in Ponte Vedra Beach in 1997. Since that time, Beaches Dermatology has expanded to include offices in Fernandina and St. Augustine.
Dr. Boudreaux is a native of New Orleans. He majored in biology at the University of New Orleans. As an active member in the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, he served as the president of the University of New Orleans Premedical Society. He attended Louisiana State University Medical College – Shreveport where he was awarded membership into the National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, in 1984 and received his medical degree with honors in 1985. He obtained his postgraduate dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science and served as Chief Resident of Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Boudreaux is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and licensed to practice medicine and surgery by the state of Florida. He has served as president of the Jacksonville Dermatology Society and is an active member of the Florida Medical Association, Florida Society of Dermatology Surgeons, American Academy of Dermatology and the Florida Physician's Association. He has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Florida since 1991.
Dr. Boudreaux has served the community through volunteer work with the American Cancer Society and has donated free care to the indigent through Shand's Hospital Dermatology Clinic. He has enjoyed participating as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Boudreaux's interests include many outdoor activities and cycling throughout Europe.
