HECTOR GONZALEZ, MPAS, PA-C
Hector Gonzalez is a Physician Assistant that comes to our practice with dermatology and cosmetic experience since 2008, and Family Practice and Urgent care since 1995. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from the University of Nebraska in Omaha in 1998. Hector completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from St Francis University in Pennsylvania in 1995, which earned him a commission in the United States Navy. Prior to that he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University in 1992.
Hector Gonzalez is a native of Santa Monica, California. He began his career in health care when he joined the Navy in 1987 and became a Hospital Corpsman out of San Diego. As a Physician Assistant his most exciting tours included spending time in Guantanamo and onboard two aircraft carriers. Hector retired as a Lieutenant Commander after 21 years of Naval Service in 2008.
He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program.
Hector enjoys his time off supporting his daughter as she pursues a career at UCF. He also enjoys daily exercise to include swimming, walking and weight lifting. His wife is a physician that works for the Military Entry Processing Station in Jacksonville. Hector and his family have lived in Jacksonville since 2005.
